Multi-Party Democracy Fund

The Electoral Commission hereby gives notice in terms of Regulation 2(1) of the Regulations on Political Party Funding, 2018 that the total amount available for allocation for the period 1 April 2025 until 30 June 2025, to represented political parties, from the Multi-Party Democracy Fund established in terms of the Political Funding Act 6 of 2018, as amended by the Electoral Matters Amendment Act 14 of 2024 is R 2 484 526.

In terms of Regulation 4(2) of the Electoral Commission Regulations on Political Funding Act 6 of 2018, as amended by the Electoral Matters Amendment Act 14 of 2024, the Electoral Commission hereby further gives notice that a fee to defray the cost of administering and managing the Multi- Party Democracy Fund for the financial year 1 April 2025 until 31 March 2026 will be zero percent (0%) of the total amount.
