1. The Information Regulator (Regulator), hereby, in terms of section 113(4)(b) of the Protection of Personal Information Act No. 4 of 2013, publish the amended Regulations Relating to the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2018 for implementation with immediate effect.

 

2. A copy of the amended final version of the Regulations is available on the Regulator’s website at https://inforegulator.org.za/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/POPIA-2021- Regulations-FINAL-21-Jan-2025.pdf.
